Great opportunity to get involved with Transforming Community Services Project.

A PPI Representative is invited to attend the Transforming Community Services Project Board Meetings

Chair Natalie Park would like to invite a PPI rep to join her at the Transforming Community Services Project Board Meetings which will take place monthly.

The proposed dates for meetings are:

Thursday 14th October                COCH Post Grad Centre

Thursday 11th November            Boardroom, Trust Board

Wednesday 1st December          Jubilee Day Surgery Seminar Room

Thursday 13th January                1829 Building Conf Room D

Thursday 10th February               1829 Building Conf Room A

Thursday 17th March                   1829 Building Conf Room D

The initial focus of the Project Board will be overseeing the safe transition of Community Care Western Cheshire’s community services to CWP by 1st April 2011. The Project Board will then evolve into a Transformation Board as the project moves forward.

The Project Board is accountable to Western Cheshire PCT Board and Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Board for the success of the Project, and is responsible for the communications with stakeholders external to the project. The aims of these meetings are:

  • To act as an expert reference group and influence, advise and support the senior management team in strategic and operational decision making regarding the transaction
  • Enable information sharing across organisational boundaries.
  • Address key questions relevant to the transaction.

Phoenix is the editor of this site and was diagnosed with bipolar twenty years ago. In between 8 periods of illness and hospitalisation she trained as a garden designer and was a awarded an RHS Diploma, gained a first class degree in Cultural Studies and a Certificate in Education that enables her to lecture in Recovery in Mental Health to psychiatric nurse students and mental health professionals at universities. Phoenix leads a diverse life which she attributes to Wellness Recovery Action Planning and all aspects of Recovery. In the last 2 years she performed stand up comedy. Laughter truly is the best medicine! Now she is concentrating on being involved in improving conditions for inpatients and service receivers trustwide. And training in WRAP, Recovery Star and the new Advanced Statement and some gardening for health. Also with some great new art projects.
