Volunteering to help at Wirral Churches Ark Project.
The Ark are recruiting volunteers for the Nightsafe Project. If you are interested then you can read more here: http://www.wirralark.org.uk/NightSafe.asp
Volunteers also do shifts staffing our reception desk which is often the first point of contact for residents and visitors.
The usual pattern for volunteers is to come to the Ark for their ‘shift’ either once a week, or once a fortnight, or even once a month, for about 3 or 4 hours at a time. Usually volunteers stick to the same day of the week. Other Ark friends represent the Ark in their church or group, and some sell our Ark Christmas cards, so raising funds.
You can read more about our volunteers by downloading the Volunteer Newsletter here: http://www.wirralark.org.uk/Downloads/Volunteer%20Newsletter%20May%202011.pdf
The Ark are always looking for new volunteers, so if you are interested in joining us, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Joyce Lowe on 0151 650 6857. You can call directly at Mary Cole House between 09:00am and 01:00pm Monday to Friday or alternatively you can write to the Ark at:
