Bidston Windmill and Bidston Lighthouse Open Days are here again! Great family days out for 2019.

Have a great day out on Bidston Hill!

On the  first Saturday of the month from April there is a unique opportunity to visit both Bidston Windmill and Bidston Lighthouse on the same day. They are situated a short walk from each other and are both hugely important historic buildings on the Wirral. The windmill on Bidston Hill is mentioned in an early manuscript dated 1609 and there has been a lighthouse situated on Bidston Hill since around 1771.

Make a day of it with a walk around the hill and also enjoy a free visit to Tam O’Shanter Urban Farm http://www.tamoshanterfarm.org.uk/index.htm  with its lovely café with delicious food and drinks at very reasonable prices.
