Every Sunday from 23rd May to 5th September at the bandstand in Vale Park, New Brighton. Free Entertainment. Why not get out in the fresh air, take a picnic and enjoy the music.
Featuring bands such as Port Sunlight Lyceum Band, Maghull Concert Band, Glenn Miller Band, Weaver Valley Accordion Band etc. with a massed brass band concert on the 5th Sept.

Vale Park is a lovely park just ten minutes walk from the centre of New Brighton, which can be easily reached by Rail or Bus. From the promenade in New Brighton walk down towards Seacombe with the river on your left. You will see the park on your right hand side. It has a cafe, childrens playground, rose garden and a seated area by the bandstand where the entertainment is held.
I'm a married mum of one, living in Wirral. Interested in cooking, growing stuff to eat and fitness. Have Bipolar Disorder but it doesn't stop me leading a full and productive life. 
The Band Festival at Vale Park is excellent. I played Solo Trombone for Port Sunlight Lyceum Brass for the better part of 30 years – performing there many times. It is a great afternoon – even when it rains, which it does – often!! So if you decide to go and enjoy the music – do remember a waterproof jacket and umbrella, because the bands play whatever the weather is doing!
