Recovery Wirral is all about getting and staying mentally and physically healthy. On this wellbeing site, which is written by people with mental health difficulties, you can find a myriad of ideas to help you to keep your life in balance, from where to go for a free salsa class to tips on how to combat stress and anxiety.
We are an independent website that was originally sponsored by NHS Wirral and was newly launched in Autumn 2009 after undergoing major redesign. The aim of the website is to help people who are struggling with any kind of mental health difficulty to embark on their own journey to recovery and to stay well.
We welcome your comments and suggestions – this site is meant to be interactive and a resource for the community to use and contribute to .

Hi, I work in the drug/alcohol recovery field in the Wirral for the NHS, I find the recovery site a usefull tool for myself and clients, are their any flyers advertising the site?
Well done for all your obvious hard work.
Joy
Hi Joyce. Thanks for that comment! We will be doing a launch in New Year and will have flyers and cards in all departments of Mental Health and Drugs and Alcohol. Especially so staff can hand them out to clients. Keep looking at website as we will keep you posted on there.
Cheers
